If you’re a PogoPlug Video owner, you should probably read the product recall note on the official PogoPlug blog (link below). Affected models are Pogo-P11, Pogo-P12, Pogo-P13, and Pogo-P14, and the problem apparently lies in the video processing hardware, a “thermal runaway” can occur causing the unit to smoke and potentially catch fire. Non-Video models are apparently unaffected due to their lack of the extra silicon required to chug through piles of video in realtime.
